Healthcare Providers, Medical Institutions, and other Clinical Organizations: Become a Discovery Partner®
Discovery Partners® drive Discovery Life Sciences’ work. These clinical partners are our route to hundreds of thousands of patients to obtain the biosamples that enable us to help investigators accelerate the discovery, research, and development of novel biomarkers, drug and medical device candidates, and diagnostics.
We collaborate with our partners in this extensive network of hospitals, academic medical centers, blood banks, clinical laboratories, and community-based medical practices to locate the specific biospecimens researchers need to fulfill their protocol objectives.
“… use of archival clinical specimens in support of biomedical advances is the intellectual foundation of modern medicine.”

Discovery Partners: Providing Access to Rare Diseases and Racially and Ethnically Diverse Exemplars
Our Discovery Partners are located in more than 165 clinical sources in 25 countries on six continents and enable Discovery to recruit the most diverse patient populations and procure the highest quality of ethically obtained clinical research specimens.
We have a team dedicated to building our growing network, and we adhere to stringent IRB and Ethics Committee compliance and all required EU approvals and certifications. Navigating the new personal data protection regulations (both US and internationally) is a core competency.

Laboratories Have Important Human BioResources
Also, leftover tissue, whole blood, serum, plasma, cells, and other blood constituents are important human bioresources that typically end up as medical waste. We believe they should be conserved. Clinical laboratories are eligible to participate in our remnant specimen purchase program.
